Stories. Worlds. Sound.

Owen Crow Studios is an independent creative studio focused on dark, cinematic storytelling.

We develop original worlds through film, sound, and visual design—beginning with Grim Stardust, a grounded medieval horror series set in the Karsovian wilderness

GRIM STARDUST is a dark folk-horror story set in the isolated forests and villages of Karsovia, where fear and superstition shape everyday life.  At the center of the story is Abigail Parsons, a neglected young girl from the village of Ashwicke who is feared and misunderstood by the people around her. Quiet, lonely, and burdened by strange abilities she does not fully understand, Abigail becomes increasingly isolated as the village turns against her.  Standing against her is William Boone, the self-appointed preacher and spiritual authority of Ashwicke. He is cold, severe, and manipulative. To Boone, Abigail represents something dangerous and unnatural. To Abigail, Boone represents cruelty, judgment, and the violence of the world around her.  Grim Stardust is ultimately a story about fear, grief, power, isolation, and the way pain can shape both heroes and monsters. It is a bleak medieval world where people fear monsters, monsters fear people, and both sides may have good reason to.

Abigail

As tensions rise, the line between ordinary fear and real supernatural horror begins to disappear. Ancient forces hidden within the forests awaken, old secrets resurface, and Abigail is drawn toward powers far greater and more dangerous than anyone realizes.

Gala

In the forests of Karsovia, fear spreads faster than fire.  Ancient things move unseen between the trees. Villages cling to survival. Strange lights appear in the woods. And somewhere beyond the darkness, something is waiting.

The forest is waiting.

The forest is waiting.

The Bride

Somewhere in the forests of Karsovia, there are stories people do not tell after dark.

Stories about pale figures between the trees.
About old grief that never stays buried.
About something waiting in the fog.

Some say it is only a story.

The forest is waiting.

The forest is waiting.

In Karsovia, ancient things still linger in the forests, and every shadow hides a story.

Grim Stardust

The forest is waiting.
